We managed a performance-driven Google Ads campaign for NetPlates,
a UK-based personalised number plate marketplace, with the objective of generating high-intent leads and increasing conversion-focused traffic. Due to the highly competitive nature of the private registration industry, the strategy focused heavily on search intent optimisation, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), and Quality Score improvements.
The campaign structure was rebuilt using tightly themed ad groups, high-commercial-intent keyword clustering, exact and phrase match targeting, audience segmentation, and continuous negative keyword refinement. We implemented Responsive Search Ads (RSAs) with Dynamic Keyword Insertion (DKI), conversion-focused messaging, and ad extensions to improve CTR and Ad Relevance.
To maximise lead quality and reduce wasted spend, we conducted ongoing search query audits, bid optimisation, geo-targeting, device-level adjustments, and remarketing audience layering. Landing pages were optimised for mobile usability, faster load speed, stronger CTA placement, and improved enquiry flow to enhance conversion performance.
Using Google Ads Conversion Tracking, GA4 event tracking, and performance analytics, the campaign achieved a significant improvement in qualified lead generation, conversion efficiency, and search visibility while lowering irrelevant traffic and improving overall campaign ROI.
